I’m a chef by profession, but I’ve never been into the stiff, overly serious
image that often comes with the title.
I originally studied design,
and cooking didn’t begin in a proper kitchen or a fancy culinary school.
It started on the streets — through odd jobs, long days,
and learning things the hard way.
I’m Korean, but I don’t believe food belongs to one place.
I want to taste everything, learn from everything,
and understand how people eat, cook, and live all over the world.
Street food, home cooking, fine dining —
if there’s a story behind it, I want to know it.
If there’s a technique, I want to learn it.
If there’s a flavor I haven’t tasted yet, I’m curious.
I enjoy wandering more than settling.
I like food, drinks, long conversations,
and getting lost in unfamiliar places.
I drink more than I should, travel whenever I can,
and believe life tastes better when you don’t rush it.
This website isn’t a showcase of perfection.
It’s a personal notebook —
of food, work, design, travel, mistakes,
and all the moments in between.
If you’re expecting strict rules or polished answers,
this might not be the place.
But if you enjoy honest stories, good food,
and a slightly wandering way of living,
you’ll feel at home here.
